ANDREW M. RADESPIEL practices in the area of construction law and business litigation. Mr. Radespiel has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation including pre-litigation management, pre-trial procedural and substantive motion practice, trial preparation, and post-trail execution of judgments and debt-collection in New York and New Jersey. Mr. Radespiel also represents and advises his clients with respect to ADR proceedings including mediation and arbitration. He is well-versed in the unique considerations presented by various project delivery methodologies such as traditional design/bid/build, design/build, CM at risk and adviser, and complex hybrid systems, whether performed on a cost plus or stipulated sum basis.

Mr. Radespiel also counsels owners, developers, and contractors in strategies to minimize, manage, and resolve potential construction and other business disputes. In his construction practice, Mr. Radespiel works closely with clients to evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of potential claims, and provides real-time counseling and advice regarding issues that arise during construction, including construction defect claims, design errors and omissions claims, delay and disruption claims, change order and extra work claims, mechanic’s liens, default/termination and other related matters.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Radespiel was an associate at Peckar & Abramson, P.C. Upon graduation from Rutgers Law School, he clerked for Mary K. Costello, then Civil Presiding Judge in Hudson County, New Jersey.

While attending Rutgers, Mr. Radespiel was First Chair for the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, both East (Hong Kong) and West (Vienna), and worked in the Rutgers Law Intellectual Property Law Clinic representing clients and their unique intellectual property.
