DAMIEN L. BEVELLE has extensive experience in all phases of complex business litigation. During his career, he has litigated securities and anti-trust matters, partnership disputes, real estate matters, contracts, and other complex business disputes in federal and state courts in New York and New Jersey. Mr. Bevelle’s practice highlights include representing institutional investors and financial institutions in multi-billion-dollar residential mortgage backed securities litigation, and advising and defending New Jersey municipalities in civil rights, wrongful death, employment, and land use matters. Mr. Bevelle served as law clerk to the Hon. Esther Salas, U.S.D.J. (2013–14) and the Hon. Steven C. Mannion, U.S.M.J. (2012–13) in the United States District Court of New Jersey. He also clerked for the Hon. Greta Gooden Brown in the Passaic County (New Jersey) Superior Court, Criminal Division.

Mr. Bevelle graduated from Seton Hall Law School where he was a Distinguished Scholar, and at graduation, he received the Raymond DelTufo, Esq. Award for Excellence in Constitutional Law. He was also a competing member of the Interscholastic Moot Court Team, Student Government Representative, and Chapter President of the Black Law Students Association.

In his business career before law school, Mr. Bevelle worked in financial services, investment banking, and business development consulting, first at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, and later at American Financial Consulting Co., LLC.

Prior to joining Clark Guldin Attorneys at Law, Mr. Bevelle practiced law at Holwell Schuster & Goldberg LLP in New York, and at DeCotiis, Fitzpatrick & Cole, LLP in New Jersey.
